In this video, we conducted A/B testing for the e-commerce grocery subscription service to determine which UI mobile design layout works best for first-time customers. This test is helpful for business owners and marketing and UX teams who are looking for ways to increase their sales.
Transcript
In the context of an eCommerce grocery subscription service, first-time customers on the marketing website are shown with curated selections to guide them through their buying journey.
In this example, two mobile designs are presented with a stack view and a tile view of radio buttons.
The challenge with stack view is the visibility of the radio buttons on one screen, an extra layer of description, and additional scrolling, while tiles view is the opposite.
Past research suggests that stack view is preferable due to the description helping the users to establish context.
To reinforce this, we conducted A/B testing, and the goal is to determine which one has a higher conversion.
The result, the List view performs better by at least 8%.
