Some businesses wants to fully optimize their website for speed and one way of doing that is using SVG icons. SVG icons are better than PNG because they are lightweight and sharp. I’ll walk you through on how I upload and optimize SVG icons. So, I have an SVG icon here. First thing I’ll do is I will open this up in a text editor.
From here I will control all control C or command C copy. The next step is I’ll go to svg minifi.com and then paste the code in this field. What it will do is it will optimise the SVG icon to make it lightweight. Click the start button and from here control all again and then control copy or command key. Then go back to the Elementor editor page.
Need to add the SVG icon on top of the small business website. Go to the top left hand side of the screen, the plus icon. Click it, add element, and then look for HTML. Next is drag and drop it above the small business website and then paste the code there. Now it looks big. We need to adjust the width or the size of the SVG icon. To do that, click advanced tab to the width. Change the default to custom. Then under custom width, change percentage to pixel. Then type in 64 pixel.
Once you’re done with that, click save, draft, or publish. And then go back to the preview screen and refresh it. And that’s pretty much it. So that’s my process when uploading an SVG icon in Elementor page builder. Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment down below and I’ll see you next time. Bye.
